Thanks to Flagler Volunteer Services, Inc. for All Your Help!
Volunteers play a significant role in every successful performance and event at the Flagler Auditorium. Each season, approximately 100 volunteers give their time and talents in a variety of ways. The Auditorium relies on volunteers to perform many roles, including organizing events, parking, ushering, greeting guests, hospitality, marketing, and various administrative tasks. There are many opportunities for volunteering at the Auditorium. All Auditorium
volunteers must be dedicated to excellent customer service, committed to their assigned duties, and be flexible and dependable. Volunteers clearly have an enormous impact in helping the arts and cultural organizations function
as a viable industry.
Do you want to make a significant difference in the cultural life of Flagler County? Consider investing your time and talent to support the Auditorium’s activities and join our very dedicated group of community leaders, patrons, and business organizations seeking to promote, enhance, and support the performing arts in Flagler County and the surrounding region.
Your skills and interests may fit our needs for clerical and box office, hospitality and concession stand volunteers, ushers, parking and ground volunteers or special projects volunteers. You do not need to have experience working with a performing arts center to be an effective volunteer. Training and orientation sessions will prepare you for your responsibilities. Flagler Auditorium volunteers can purchase tickets for themselves for Flagler Auditorium shows at a 10% discount.
If you think you might want to explore volunteering opportunities at Flagler Auditorium, please download the Auditorium Volunteer Program Application. When you have completed the application, please return it to the Auditorium. A Flagler Auditorium representative will contact you to setup an appointment to be interviewed. If there is a suitable volunteer position, we will forward your completed application to the Flagler Country Student Services Office for processing.
After your application has been reviewed and approved by the School District, they will notify you of your clearance and the time(s) and date(s) you can come to get your picture ID. Please allow 2-3 weeks for application processing. Every volunteer is required to attend a Flagler Auditorium orientation prior to volunteering. The Auditorium will notify you with a date for the next orientation. If you have any questions, please call our box office at (386) 437-7547.
The Auditorium’s Governing Board and staff are deeply appreciative of your willingness to share your time, enthusiasm, and unique gifts in support of this very worthwhile community resource.
