Celtic Angels Christmas is a joyous celebration from start to finish, encompassing vocal and instrumental Holiday and Irish favourites. Paired with show stopping world class champion Irish dancing and a fully live band, Celtic Angels Christmas is sure to awe and entertain. Starring the quintessential vocals of Louise Barry, Searlait NÍ Caiside, Olivia Bradley, Michaela Groth and Katie Sweeney, these dynamic divas enthrall and delight with their jaw dropping performances and spine tingling harmonies.Musical arranger Peter Sheridan (Cavan, Celtic Thunder) ingeniously marries the old and new worlds with traditional and contemporary Irish and Holiday tunes. Brought to life by the immensely talented Trinity Ensemble. Hands will be clapping and toes will be tapping. Under the watchful eye of Irish Step Dance Director, Sarah Costello (Belfast, ADCRG), the Celtic Knight Dancers seem to defy gravity as they command the stage with their powerful, percussive presence. Written, directed and choreographed by Dublin native, Louise Barry (Dublin, The Diddley Idols / National Theatre) this wonderfully nostalgic journey will having you dashing through the snow to the local snugs of Ireland, where a step is expected, sing alongs are mandatory and good craic is had by all.

Louise Barry

Dublin native Louise Barry started her Performing Arts training at the age of two, studying many aspects of Dance, Drama and Singing in Dublin and New York and with The ABRSM, London. Louise’s reputation as one of Ireland's most versatile performers led to collaborations with the New York Irish contemporary dance company DCD for the Duke Theatre on 42nd Street, Broadway. Never satisfied with wearing just the one hat, as a musician Louise has performed at Irish Festivals all over the country and to audiences all over the world with too many renowned Irish acts to name but mostly with her very favourite person, as the live duo, The Diddley Idols. She has worked with countless Tony and Emmy winners and even a few Oscar nominees, holds a World Record and most recently recorded a track for Grammy winning Fiddle superstar, Eileen Ivers’ latest release.

Searlait Ni Caiside

Séarlait got her start at the prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia Performing Arts High School in New York City as a vocal major. Séarlait then went on to graduate with her Bachelors Degree in Music Education & Vocal studies from Aaron Copland School of Music and received her Masters in Special Education with a concentration in music therapy. Séarlait has appeared on The Voice(UK), Glee Project, and represented New York in the Mary From Dungloe which was broadcast on Irish TV. Her most recent projects include a recent nationwide commercial for Tula Skin Care. Séarlait also originated the role of Emily in a developmental musical titled Once Round the Circle and has performed in numerous regional musical theatre productions.

Olivia Bradley

Olivia is a vocalist, performer and Irish dancer based out of Atlanta, Georgia. A graduate of Clayton State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music (Cum Laude), she has performed with professionals such as Emmet Cahill, Sarah Brightman, John Doyle, Dave Curley, Cormac de Barra, and with John Maschinot as a member of The Celtic Company and Ah Surely. Olivia is a national champion Irish Gaelic singer, winning gold medals in both Irish and English singing, and competing in Seán-nos singing on the world stage in 2015 at the All Ireland competition (Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann) in Sligo, Ireland as the only American qualifier. She has held a leading role in several music theater productions, including Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Ariel in The Little Mermaid, and the title role in Offenbach’s operetta La Perichole, Seymour Barab’s Little Red Riding Hood, and Kurt Weill’s One Touch of Venus. She is also a regular performer at Irish Fest Atlanta and other events such as Atlanta’s Celtic Christmas. She Irish danced competitively for eleven years and plays the bodhran.

Katie Sweeney

Katie Sweeney is a Singer, Actor, Dancer from Long Island, NY. Only 30 minutes from NYC, her mother and grandmother would spend the weekends searching for last minute tickets to see as many Broadway shows as possible. Katie earned a BFA in Musical Theatre from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY. After graduating, She went on to perform at the REV Theatre Company in West Side Story ( Somewhere Soloist) and Saturday Night Fever. Katie toured NY state with The REV On Tour bringing professional theatre to students K-12. Katie has spent many Christmas’s singing at the “World’s Most Beautiful Park”, Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Most recently, She was a singer for the St. Patricks’ Day Celebration in the band Dublin Over where they sang classic Irish tunes! Katie has a rich Irish heritage with both sides of her great great grandparents immigrating from County Dublin, County Donegal, and County Mayo.
